The litter pick on the Civic Pride day was a resounding success with 20 green bin bags of rubbish collected. A huge thank you to all those who helped publicise it and those who helped on the day. It was also good to have volunteers join us and to see children get involved on the day.
It was also interesting to discover that the routes covered were actually not as bad as we would have imagined, that said we ended the day with 20 bags of rubbish and two new Trust members! The next Weaverham litter pick is planned for some time in October, so keep an eye on the events schedule for more information.
