June Litter Pick, thank you for your amazing support

The Weaverham Trust held its summer litter pick today and in spite of the rain we managed to cover many parts of the village, our attention was focused on the usual ‘grot spots’ especially Northwich Road and Lime Avenue shops.

Despite the weather we we had over 30 people attend and collected over 30 bags of litter! We were pleased to welcome the support from Gillian Edwards and Charles Fifield our CWAC councillors and members of the Weaverham Parish Council.

We are hoping to hold another litter pick during the school holidays, this next event will be advertised on our Facebook page and hereon our website. Watch this space for more details!

Don’t forget if you spot any fly tipping, overflowing bins or anything else that is impacting the look of our village, report it to the council we reported the bin that we came across during the pick. As you can see it was not a pleasant sight!

A big thank you to all those “Weaverham Wombles” who attended to help keep our village tidy.
