Working together to make Weaverham a litter bit better.
The Weaverham Trust held its first family litter pick last Saturday and we were pleased to welcome many younger volunteers who helped out.
Over 30 bags of litter were collected last weekend plus a car exhaust! Every little helps in keeping Weaverham tidy. We were pleased to welcome the support from Paul Williams, Cheshire West and Chester councillor and John Freeman, Weaverham Parish Councillor .
Once again a big thank you to all our “Weaverham Wombles” who attended last week and we hope to see you in September. We will be running our next litter pick in conjunction with World Clean Up Day on Saturday 21st September 2019.
