The Weaverham Trust planted another round of daffodils, purchased by the money from the Coop.
The sites chosen this year were the junction of Wood Lane and Northwich Road, and the grass verge by Bottom Pitch.
Further bulbs will be planted by hand at Bottom Pitch where the verge was too narrow for the tractor to plant.
The areas planted now include:-
- Northwich Road on entry to village
- Hanging Gate crossroads
- Junction of Forest Street and West Road
- Sandy Lane Hill
- Lime Avenue by Cherry Lane
- Bottom Pitch
- Wallerscote Road corner
- Wood Lane junction on Northwich Road
- Corner of Lake House Field by Memorial Stone
