The Weaverham Wombles are out of hibernation and we are back on Saturday 19th June 2021 in support of the Great British Spring Clean, #GBSpringClean.
We will be meeting at 10:30 at The Old Surgery, Russett Road, Weaverham, CW8 3HY (next to Weaverham Library).
We are following guidance provided by Keep Britain Tidy to ensure we litter pick in the safest way possible including use of personal gloves, maintaining social distancing at the start and end of the event where equipment for those without Adopt-a-Street equipment will be handed out and collected. Hand sanitiser and equipment sanitiser will be available.
Disinfected litter pickers, washed hi-viz vests and bin bags will be available. Disposable gloves will be available for those not bringing their own.
