The Weaverham Trust held its most successful litter pick to date to mark the Great British Spring Clean. Most of the village was covered, but attention was concentrated on the usual ‘grot spots’.
Forty four people attended including CWAC Councillors Charles Fifield, Paul Williams and candidate Adam Wordsworth. Forty nine bags were gathered on the day with a further 5 being gathered on previous days. A GRAND TOTAL OF 54 BAGS.
It was pleasing to see families taking part and hopefully the youngsters will encourage their friends to be litter conscious.
